You - tall, handsome, Nike clad runner that came out of nowhere in the last mile of our marathon. Us - female running duo, 25 miles into our first marathon and trying to cross the finish line. You helped pace us for that last half-mile before the turnaround, reminded us to breathe, and offered some much needed motivation (and eye candy) as we struggled through the longest mile on the course. Would love to thank you for your wisdom and support finishing the race, but forgot to ask your name. Hoping fate might offer this runner the opportunity for a do-over at the next race. Should we meet at the LA Marathon in 2022?
