Now Hiring Zamboni Drivers! This job requires the ability to work with and understand heavy machinery. Candidates will be trained on the operation and daily maintenance of the Zamboni/Olympia ice resurfacers. This position is responsible for resurfacing the ice correctly and safely to ensure and maintain acceptable ice conditions. Other job duties include keeping all areas of the facility neat and clean at all times by sweeping and mopping the restrooms, locker rooms, lobby, bleachers, etc. As well as opening or closing the building and supervising other staff members. Skills Required: *Must be at least 18 years old *Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays (we are open 365 days a year). *Must be able to carry out instructions efficiently and effectively. *Must be physically capable of lifting heavy objects (goals are 150lbs) *Must be able to multi-task. *Must be highly motivated to learn new skills that are essential to completing daily ice maintenance. *Must be able to work well in both a team environment and own your own. *Must be punctual and complete tasks on time. *Must be able to read gauges and record information in logs. *Ability to work in a wet, cold and icy environment. We are willing to train the right candidates and have other positions also available.
