Rehoming Adult Cat

Description

Location: Austin Texas Names: Marvy Age: 5 years old, 15 lbs. Marvy is super sweet on his terms most of the time he keeps to himself he responds to the words treat and pet. He is very vocal and does these cute chirping meows. I have 2 other cats in this household one my roommates 6-year-old Maine Coon, a 4-month-old Persian Kitten, and a dachshund dog unknown age. Safe to say that Marvy isn’t interested in other animals and more than likely won’t get along with them as he won’t retract his claws when trying to paw at them through the door. He is neutered, I have no knowledge of vaccinations also another reason why I haven’t introduced the other cats to him, so I am unsure. He has been a solely indoor cat. Reason why he is needing a new home is due to being gone for more than 2 weeks every month and I am moving into a place where they don’t allow more than 1 pet. I approximately hope I have find him a home by Oct 20th after that I am not sure what else I can do. I will be providing his carrying case, litter, litterbox and mat if you want and food that he eats I’ve been trying to change his food diet to RAWS or TIKI, but he always goes for Purina. He is severely afraid and gets stressed of enclosed places and car rides one incident I experienced with him was that he will defecate each time taken in a car or crate *So be aware* mainly Gabapentin helps. So, I’m in hopes to find someone in the Austin region and or outside cities… Probably the farthest I’d meet is 1 hour away like San Marcos or so.
