Van Driver - Farmer's Markets

Events

Los Angeles CA

Description

Hi there, we are a small kitchen and retail location seeking someone to help at our outdoor farmer's markets where we sell vegetarian prepackaged food. We need someone who can drive a Sprinter van carrying tents, coolers, and other supplies from our West Hills kitchen to our market locations, as well as set up and tear down the booths. You'll need to be strong enough to leverage several 100lb coolers out of the van and onto short crates. Must obviously have a valid driver's license. This will equate to like four hours of work, but you'd get paid for the whole day. Pay is $16/hour. On Sunday, you'd set up two markets in close proximity to each other — Brentwood and Pacific Palisades — around 6:00 a.m. and then tear them down around 2:00 p.m. and bring everything back to the kitchen. On Tuesday, we need help with just one market in Manhattan Beach. Driving, plus set up an hour before the market opens, and tear down afterward. That market runs from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There may be a bit more work here and there filling in at our store and kitchen in West Hills during the week, and on Saturdays, if you want extra work! Please email us your information — resume or detailed work history, and a little bit about yourself!
