Seeking an adult volunteer who would like to be involved in the life and care of a lovely horse. The time commitment is only one hour on Wednesdays and Thursdays, morning or evening. I own a wonderful and personable horse and keep him at Horse Hill and spend a lot of time caring for him myself but work two long days a week and would love assistance on those Wednesdays and Thursdays in feeding him his grain supplements. I am unable to visit him on those days. Some horse experience is required as you would be handling him with a lead rope, bringing him out to a hitch post and wetting his grain. You can brush him and pick out his hooves while he eats. It is very satisfying for those who can appreciate it. You would need to be available to go to him either between 7 AM and 9 AM or around 3 PM. I am happy to discuss with anybody who is interested. You will also have the benefit of getting to know him and being able to visit him anytime you want by hiking up onto the hill.
