We are looking for a competent Construction Worker to install residential rooftop renewable energy solar construction projects. You will be helping bring the goal of renewable energy to homeowners. Experience in roofing and electrical helpful but not required. You must be able to lift 50 lbs., have endurance and work well with your hands. Must be able to follow instructions and safety rules. Must have valid drivers license and be able to pass a DOT physical. Tools program provided for candidates without tools for the trade. Responsibilities: Install racking and solar panels on residential roof tops Safely set up ladders Carry materials at construction sites Install electrical conduit and wiring per specifications Energize the solar system and set up customer monitoring Take pictures of all work Must practice safety at all times Skills: Proven experience as construction worker preferred but not required, will train right candidate Basic Electrical knowledge helpful Comfortable walking and working on steep roofs Able to work in a team Able to read instructions and blueprints when needed (training provided) Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written) Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination There is plenty of room for growth for the motivated person. Plenty of overtime available. You must be able to take and apply direction. This is a perfect opportunity for a roofer that wants to stop hauling shingles around on a roof.
