Quinn's Auction Galleries, On-Site Sales Division is looking to hire part-time positions (Independent contractor position). This position is for someone who is reliable, compassionate, great with people, has excellent problem solving skills and organized with an eye for details. Our On-Site Team works at clients' homes sorting and preparing inventory for online auctions (formerly known as Estate Sales) around NoVa area. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: -Sorting and organizing inventory into "like groups" (china with china, cameras with cameras, etc). -Lotting inventory for auction (writing a description and taking photos of the inventory with an iPhone). -Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. -Moving inventory to include heavy furniture, awareness of proper item handling and care for the objects. We are looking for staff who can lift approximately 20-40+ lbs comfortably, and do not have any issues rolling up their sleeves and getting their hands dirty! Candidates must be able to work independently, be flexible in the tasks associated with the roles, and be able to rapidly learn about new and unfamiliar items. This position is Monday-Friday 9AM-3PM (approx. 30 hours/week) We allow for some flexibility for parents with demanding school/bus schedules. Minimum 3 days per week required for continuity.
