Helper/Welder/Fitter/Fabricator KDM Steelworks is hiring hard working, honest and dependable employees. We are a continually growing steel company that delivers structural steel across the United States. The job of the helper is to cut, grind, drill, paint and move material. This is a very flexible position. Sometimes the helper will be cutting material on the saw, grinding parts after welding, painting with an electric sprayer, moving material with the crane or drilling holes using a drill press or magnetic drill. The job of the welder is to weld structural steel together, you will be required to pass a 4G MIG Welding test, unlimited. This position requires experience in structural steel welding. The job of the fitter is to read the blue prints and assemble the material to match the drawings. This position requires experience in structural steel fitting. Most work will be done inside the shop, however there will be times when work is done outside of the shop on our property. Employees must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be over 18 with a valid driver's license. Hours are Monday - Thursday, 7am to 5pm. Overtime on Fridays right now are available. Health insurance is offered after probation period.
