The Dog Handler Position is key to the overall success at D Pet Hotels, measured by the health and happiness of our canine guests and consistent customer satisfaction. We work tirelessly as a team to ensure proper safety and play. Full training in canine behavior and safe handling direction is provided, but experience is preferred. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Attentively caring for our canine guests in their playgroup environment as well as in their suites. -Excellent customer service, eagerly greeting each client and directing them to front staff for assistance. -Facility maintenance, Cleaning up after our canine guests to provide a sanitary, safe and healthy environment. -Teamwork, helping your team members in a variety of tasks to ensure excellent service is being provided. -Flexibility, We work with animals and cannot always plan their behavior or exactly how the day will go. Although we do our best to predict how the day will go, we need staff that is willing to stay late, come early and help their fellow co-workers out. Qualifications: -Applicants must be at least 18 years of age -Hard-working, reliable, team-oriented, and punctual -Ability to work in a fast-paced, active environment. -Must be able to work some holidays -Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds -Ability to stand for extended periods of time -Quick reaction/ thinker PROFESSIONAL DOG HANDLING EXPERIENCE IS A HUGE PLUS. **COMPENSATION IS NEGOTIABLE WITH PROPER EXPERIENCE.** -Starting wage $10/hr-$13/hr Full-time and part-time positions available!
