We are currently seeking and individual to fill the position of Plant Sanitation A in a Freezer environment located in Hanover Pa. This position is responsible for cleaning an assigned production line in accordance with guidelines established by Management in a safe and productive manner, while maintaining predetermined quality standards. Good communication and basic math skills are required. 1.Clean all food processing equipment and production areas involved in manufacturing systems in accordance with prescribed sanitation techniques and procedures according to USDA standards. 2.Performs other duties, including but not limited to trash hauling, waste hauling, painting, grounds keeping, janitorial service, etc. as assigned by Supervisor or lead person. 3.Reports any mechanical or safety problems to Supervisor or lead person. 4.Adheres to common safety practices or rules including the wearing of protective equipment as required. 5.Adheres to our plant hygiene standards to insure high product integrity. 6.Responsible for physically lifting to 100 pounds as required. 7.Responsible for execution of food safety, legality and quality policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to: GMP’s, food safety, equipment and area sanitation, food security, etc. 8.Safe operation of forklifts, electric pallet jacks and all industrial man lifts. 9.Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Lead person These are temp to hire positions!
