We are currently hiring a Full-time NIGHTTIME NON-CDL DRIVER. Break it Down is a rapidly growing composting and recycling business. We provide services to over 600 businesses, offices and residents in and around Austin - which means FULL-TIME work GUARANTEED!! Get in SHAPE while driving! HOURS - Night Shifts are 9pm - 5am Sunday-Thursday nights. BENEFITS of this position include: - Competitive wages, starting at $19/hour - 13 days Paid Time Off per year - Paid holidays that we are closed - Time and half for holidays that you work, or for overtime - 60/40 split on medical insurance + dental and vision available - Fun and energetic work environment REQUIREMENTS for this position include: - You must be at least 23+ years of age - Valid driver's license - No DUI/DWI in past 3 years - Minimum 2 years experience driving box trucks - Operational smartphone that can be used for taking/sending photos, communicating via text and email, and for GPS/routing - Reliable transportation to and from work RESPONSIBILITIES of this position include: - Working autonomously through the night. - Impeccable communication so that managers/day crew can be aware of any issues from the night's routes. - Driving 26' stake bed trucks or box trucks 1-3 routes (including anywhere from 1-30 stops) around Austin. - Loading 100 lb.+ barrels of food waste and recyclables into trucks with use of a liftgate at every stop. - Sorting through barrels to check for contamination.
