Fernwood Candy is looking to hire for our position of Candy Maker/Packer. Successful candidate will be motivated and have pride in being part of producing an amazing, quality confectionary product. MUST enjoy working with a team of equally motivated individuals. Experience in food production is desired, but not required. We are willing to train someone who is hard working, reliable and a fast learner! Responsibilities include assisting in producing and packing chocolate, and honey butter products. A food handlers permit is required. Some heavy lifting is required and the ability to stand long hours, and work quickly with hands is a must. The role of Candy Maker/Packer is full time - 40 hours per week. Our hours are 8-5 Monday-Thursday and 8-noon on Friday. We have a great group of people already working with us. Hairnets and gloves are worn to insure that our products are perfect!
