Meet Duke. He is a treasure! He would be a great family dog. He will be a medium to large size dog. He is not a big barker or digger. But he does like to jump and chew! I have been training him with a spray bottle which has worked well. Duke is good with others dogs with the right introduction. He wants to please and is doing well with potty training. He hasn’t had an accident in several weeks. He is also crate trained! It’s not his favorite thing to do but once he is in, he is quiet and relaxed. He stays in the crate while my family isn’t home. He sleeps with me at night and is so snuggly. Wakes me up like a perfect gentle man with a nice big kiss. Before Duke was ready to go to a new home, they needed to recover from having a non-contagious mange. He also had worms in their stool and were covered in fleas and ticks. All this has been cared for and this little man is in need of puppy shots and neutering! There is a negotiable rehoming fee. I have vet records from the Animal Hospital of Gurnee that can be shared! ☺️
