Position Title: Production Technician Position Overview: This position is responsible for safely handling and inspecting components and filled product in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices and Operating Procedures and communicates functions and duties necessary to inspect, label and package compounded products. Responsibilities may include: • Documents in a timely manner all tasks requiring written records as specified in Standard Operating Procedures • Packs-off product into trays and cases. Requires lifting weights of up to 50 lbs. • May inspect intermediate and finished product as required • Maintains a smooth flow of production and monitors equipment as assigned • Escalates in a timely manner any equipment or process variance • The incumbent will have and maintain a contemporaneous working knowledge in cGMP requirements. • Is consistently at work and on time; ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent and that absences are appropriately communicated and approved in advance • Other duties that may reasonably be assigned from time to time by management / supervision • This is a security-sensitive position as the incumbent will inspect, label and package controlled substances and therefore will be subject to subject to periodic drug screen per company policy Qualifications: • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country • High school Diploma or GED from recognized institution or organization required • Pharmaceutical experience preferred
