We are a Family with 3 children and reside in a townhouse without an elevator in Greenwich Village, and seek an experienced, energetic, Executive Housekeeper. Our long term housekeeper is retiring and moving out of the country. The ideal candidate will have a solid skill set in cooking, cleaning/organizing, and great attention to detail. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for all aspects of general housekeeping, deep cleaning, and household organization; Full-charge housekeeping responsibilities; museum-quality cleaning of residence; Able to work independently and cheerfully and with the other staff members, including nannies, handymen and administrators; Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization at all times; Preparing and serving healthy, family-style meals; Procuring supplies, including grocery shopping; Keeping home guest ready at all times; Assisting with other household errands; Running ad-hoc tasks and assisting with any related duties; Pet care for dogs and other animals as needed; Laundry and ironing of clothing and linens, caring for fine garments, travel packing/unpacking, etc.; Oversee household organization (closets, pantries, cabinets, etc.); Hands-on care for fine art, furniture, and antiques; polishing fine surfaces (silver, crystal, marble, etc.); Interact with outside vendors and contractors; scheduling household maintenance services as needed; Flexibility to travel to Summer home as needed during the summers; Job Types: Full time with Full benefits, Drivers License required. M-F, 40-45 Hours/Week
