Singer Looking to Start a Band

I am a singer looking to start a band in the eastern Massachusetts area. I'd like to start out by doing covers, but I have also written some songs and would like to do some original songs that we write either individually or collectively as a band. I appreciate many genres and I don't want to limit our band to one genre at this time. I used to be a lead singer in a oldies band, so many genres of music from the 1950's-1990's holds a special place in my heart, though am open to genres within and outside of that. I currently live on the north shore though I am not far from Cambridge, Boston, and the Merrimack area. Looking for guitarists (one or two), a bassist, people to occasionally sing lead and back up vocals/harmonies (since I would be the lead singer), a drummer, and a keyboard player to start. If we feel we'd like to add more musicians along the way, we can discuss it as a band. I'd like to find a group of musicians that are serious and committed to the band, so that we can do this not only for fun, but for professional purposes-- i.e. doing gigs regularly.
