Mackiewicz has shown in numerous exhibits in Massachusetts & North Carolina. She is a member of local art associations in both states, winning ribbons & selling her work. She currently enjoys working with acrylics and pastels and excels in looking for strong compositional elements in seascapes and landscapes. She finds inspiration capturing the essence of the moment in life drawing and plein-air painting. Previously, she was a public school teacher and enjoys sharing her knowledge, love of art & creativity with others!
