Orumé Hays CPA/CGMA/MST, is the founder and managing director of Hays CPA LLC. She has over a decade of business operations and financial expertise in various business sectors, including architecture, design, entertainment, event productions, food & beverage, and hospitality. Orumé is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and sits on multiple NYSSCPA technical committees, including its Financial Accounting Standards, Small Firms Practice Management, and Not-for-Profit Organizations, Personal Financial Planning and the Diversity and Inclusion NYSSCPA committees. She is currently chair of the Small Firms Practice Management Committee.  Orumé earned a Master of Science in Taxation from Northeastern University, D’Amore-McKim School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the City University of New York (CUNY), College of Staten Island, New York. A moderator, speaker, facilitator, and mentor, Orumé  is passionate about education and volunteers with local charities. She is an adjunct lecturer at the College of Staten Island.
