We own and self-manage 25 apartment communities in the Greater Saint Louis area and are looking for a Multi-Site Maintenance Technician to jump on-board with us and help support 6 of them (South/West County area). Check it out at: www.monarchinvestment.com Here's why I think you’ll love working for Monarch: • Industry competitive compensation (Up to $18.00) • $1,000.00 Sign-On Bonus • Quarterly Maintenance Bonus • Amazing medical at $30 per month for a fantastic, comprehensive plan • Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance • Paid Holidays • Paid Time Off, 1st Year: 80 Hours, 2-4 Years: 120 Hours, 5+ Years: 160 Hours • 20% off rent at any of our owned communities • 401k planning and pre-tax contributions • Paid additional training/school and Tuition reimbursement program • Yearly Anniversary Gifts • $70.00 per week when on call for emergencies on top of regular pay • Tool reimbursement program and Power tool battery exchange program • Winter boot reimbursement program • Discount programs at partnered companies such as Verizon, Expedia, Office Depot and more Responsibilities: • Paint and stain, both interior and exterior application • Drywall and carpentry • Turns units (“make readys”) in between tenant occupancy • Electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures • Water heaters, both electric and gas • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair appliances • Maintain grounds and general landscaping projects • Cleans and makes minor repairs to gutter & downspouts • Assists in exterior building maintenance as needed such as siding, soffit and window repairs • Assists in preventative maintenance as assigned • Assists with snow removal (when applicable) • Assists in pool maintenance (where applicable Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • HVAC experience/knowledge preferred, but not required • EPA License preferred, but not required • Some drywall experience including painting and carpentry • Basic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures • Have good verbal and written communication • Problem solving skills • Be able to provide great customer service to our residents • Be willing to go through basic training within 30/days • A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview Monarch Investment is the 9th largest multifamily property owner in the country with over 64,000 units, spanning 21 states in our portfolio.
