Serving at the Tomb of the Unkown Soldier was a defining period in the lives of Tomb Guards. Although Tomb Guards come from every state in the United States of America, and every walk of life, they are forever bonded through their shared experience of service at the Tomb. A strong bond was formed through an extremely demanding and humbling experience.
The John Abston Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is located in McKinney, Texas. The Daughters of the American Revolution welcome into membership any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution.
