We are hiring for two job roles (Forklift Operator and Warehouse Clerks) for multiple positions, needing to fill ASAP. These are full-time permanent positions. Role Overview: Title: Forklift Operator Location: 600 South Perry Road, Plainfield, IN Pay: $18-20 per hour, full-time (Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm) Start: ASAP Duties and Responsibilities A Forklift Driver is responsible for moving goods, loaded pallets and equipment safely and securely. In addition to driving forklifts, a Forklift Driver also has a range of other warehouse duties such as packaging shipments or checking inventories. A Forklift Driver’s primary duties and responsibilities include: ● Manoeuvring forklifts safely in busy industrial environments ● Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets ● Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport ● Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas ● Ensuring that forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions ● Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages ● Using industrial plastic wraps and wooden pallets to safely stack and package goods for transport ● Keeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures ● Consolidating partial pallets for incoming good Title: Clerical Support Staff (Clerk) Location: 600 South Perry Road, Plainfield, IN 46168 Pay: $18-20 per hour, full-time (Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm) Start: ASAP Duties and Responsibilities Clerks are responsible for tasks assigned to them by their office manager or other department employees. Most of these tasks involve working with company documents and internal and external communications. However, the duties of Clerks may also involve some accounting and inventory work, depending on the business. While duties vary according to the Clerk’s employer and industry, the following tasks are common: ● Updating and storing business files to ensure they are accurate and accessible for other employees ● Typing reports, letters and other business documents ● Sorting mail and responding to it or distributing it to appropriate employees ● Answering telephone calls and emails and redirecting them to other employees when appropriate ● Issuing invoices and following up outstanding payments ● Taking dictations and minutes during meetings ● Making travel arrangements
