The Juneau Empire currently has several route openings in the Juneau area for newspaper delivery. We are looking to fill these positions immediately.
This is an independent contractor position.
Our subscribers look forward to receiving their papers 5 days a week no matter the weather conditions.
Each route takes approximately two hours to complete. Income varies depending on the size of the route. Compensation is twice a month.
Papers can be picked up as early as 9 p.m., so you can be home by midnight! The delivery deadline is 6 a.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. on Sundays so papers can be picked up anytime after 9 p.m., as long as the routes are completed by the delivery deadline.
Must have your own reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and current valid insurance on your vehicle.
This position is great for someone looking for part-time work, additional income or maybe someone retired and looking to stay busy.
Training will be provided on these routes.
*Bonus is paid out on the first paycheck after 60 days of delivering on your contracted routes. Contractor must still be delivering newspapers at the time that the bonus is paid out to qualify.
