Rehoming Two Kitties

Description

We are looking to rehome two kitties for FREE (no sale). On Mother’s Day, 2020, a mother cat and her two kittens arrived at our home starving. Since shelters were closed due to the pandemic, we fed them and helped them through the next year. They lived in our backyard and deck, and we provided a heated doghouse for them during the winter. The mother, Cam (named for her camouflage coat), and daughter, Dita (because she looks like a black bandita), survived the winter and have become adorable pets. About 2.5 years old, Cam is clearly a stray and is very friendly. Dita, having lived outdoors all her life, is more skittish. Both purr and love to be petted when they’re fed each morning. Cam would make a great indoor/outdoor companion, and Dita could be trained with time and patience. They’re very bonded to one another and always eat, nap, play, and cuddle together. That’s why we are trying to find a home for them so that they can stay together. Both cats have been spayed and have received rabies and distemper vaccinations. Unfortunately, we need to move out of state and will no longer be able to care for these adorable kitties. We’ve become very attached to both, but we simply cannot take them with us. Therefore, we’re appealing to you to give them a new home. To help get them settled, we’ll be happy to donate their doghouse and an electrically heated pad to anyone who can give them a permanent or temporary home. Please respond via Craiglist email if you can help these two kitties.
