Come explore the world of scuba! This is a great experience to see if you want to pursue diving or just a simple bucket list item! All you need is a towel, a swimsuit, and a desire to have fun playing games underwater. We meet at 630 on the backside of the Nampa Rec Center and from there you will be guided on your first scuba adventure! Neptune Warrior is 501 c 3 non-profit dedicated to helping wounded vets, transitioning service members, and local Police, Fire, and EMS professionals dealing with seen and unseen wounds through SCUBA diving. Scuba diving provides a safe space for those suffering PTSD and hyper-vigilance, an equalizer to those with physical challenges once they become neutrally buoyant in the water, a community for those transitioning from service, relaxation from stress, and sense of mission for those who have spent a career serving others. What sets us apart is that we are open to all generations of veterans. We serve those with seen and unseen scars as well as those who are transitioning from the service or returning from a recent deployment. In addition we also work with local police, fire, and emergency responders who protect our local community. We are a grass roots organization serving both the Treasure Valley and Idaho/Eastern Oregon region.
