Alebrijes are bright colored Mexican folk art sculptures of fantastical creatures. Alebrije Workshop Oct. 28, 2021 at 6pm. Masks will be required for all who participate in Día de los Muertos in-person indoor offerings, including vaccinated visitors. Masks are strongly encouraged for our outdoors offerings, with the exception of our “Candle-light Procession” which will be a masked event for all participants. Join us for a Alebrije Workshop. The workshop is taught by Cynthia Soto. In this workshop, you will learn traditionally alebrijes how they are painted animal figurines that have become a form of symnolic art from Mexico. Space is limited so make sure to reserve your spot! No walk-ins. La Catrina Art Workshops series is inspired by The Day of the Dead.
