Learn to create your own Light-Up Tree decoration in this 2-hour soldering workshop! In this course you will learn how to solder like a pro! This session's project is an LED tree perfect for the holidays. In addition to creating your tree, you'll learn a bit of chemistry and physics as you learn the process of soldering and how this circuit works. We'll also teach you how to identify bad connections, correct other common problems, and basic steps to troubleshoot a circuit board. Children 12+ are welcome if they are able to follow safety instructions and are joined by a responsible adult. The Inventor Center is the new makerspace opening in Kingsport March of 2019.
