Honor Fight Series is a Light Contact Continuous Sparring Tournament aimed at beginner to intermediate level practitioners. HONOR FIGHT SERIES will feature two sparring divisions, each with their own ruleset. East Coast Division - There will be NO.... Elbows, Knees to the Head, Hip Tosses. West Coast Division - There will be NO.... Elbows, Knees, Clinch, Sweeps, Hip Tosses, Catching kicks. WEIGHT CLASS (MEN) WEIGHT CLASS (Women) WEIGHT CLASS (Kids) 130 - Below 115 - Below Kids will be matched 130.5 - 140 115.5 - 125 According to Age & 140.5 - 150 125.5 - 135 Weight. 150.5 - 160 135.5 - 145 160.5 - 170 145.5 - 155 170.5 - 180 155.5 - UP 180.5 - 195 195.5 - 215 215.5 - UP TOURNAMENT DETAILS: Weigh-ins start at 10 AM. Competition Starts at 12 PM. Matches will be held on mats, not in a ring or cage. Bouts are LIGHT CONTACT. There will be NO KNOCKOUTS. Competitors that are going beyond what the referees consider to be light contact will be warned and potentially disqualified. Fast and Technical sparring is what we are looking for!!! Competitors will be allowed no more than two corners, but must have at least 1 present for each bout. Each bout will be 2 Rounds with a 3rd in case of a tie. Ages 12 & Under will compete in rounds that are 1 Minute 30 Seconds. Ages 13 & Up will compete in rounds that are 2 Minutes. Competitors will be required to use specific glove sizes that will require approval and must clearly show size visible on tags: Ages 4-8 will be required to wear 10 OZ. gloves. Ages 9-13 will be required to wear 14 OZ. gloves. Ages 13 & Up will be required to wear 16 OZ. gloves. Competitors will also be required the following: Muay Thai or MMA Shorts - No Shorts with Pockets. Mouth Guard Headgear - Must be open face. Orbital Protection is ok. No Face Bar. No Caged or Plastic Shield Headgear. Shin Guards - Must be vinyl, leather, or cloth. Must cover the foot and shin.
