NOBLE New Orleans Metro Chapter is hosting a Cigar & Bourdon Fundraiser to benefit the Sgt. Martinus Mitchum Scholarship Fund NOBLE New Orleans Metro Chapter has established the Sgt. Martinus Mitchum Memorial Scholarship fund. The scholarship was set up to help high school seniors to attend college in honor of Sgt. Martinus Mitchum Mitchum, a Tulane University police officer and reserve 2nd City Court constable, was working a security detail at a basketball game at George Washington Carver High School when he was shot and killed. Sgt Mitchum was very successful in working with kids at area schools in New Orleans and making sure they had the tools to be successful. Mithcum was highly respected and appreciated for his mentorship among those students. We’re proud to announce this year’s event will be a Bourbon and Cigar Fundraiser which will take place November 6, 2021 at 1600 Canal St. (The Vue Roof top venue), and we are looking to raise $10,000.00.
