In this class, students will create a simple, small, pieced grid quilt in class using either small panels or small squares In this class, students will create a simple, small, pieced grid quilt in class using either small panels or small squares they create on their embroidery machine. Once the quilt top is complete, they will use quilting rulers, household shapes, stencils, ??? to doodle free motion quilting designs with Frixion pens. With this method they can audition their quilting design before they begin the sewing process. Once the basic stencil designs are quilted, students will learn a variety of filler stitches to complete their project.
