Learn about our PATH-certified therapeutic riding program and how you can assist riders during therapeutic riding lessons at Due West Ranch. Join us Friday, Nov. 5, from 6-8 p.m. to learn how you can become a Due West Therapeutic Riding Center volunteer! Our volunteers work with instructors, horses and riders to provide support during therapeutic lessons at Due West Ranch. You'll learn the basics of horse care, as well as how to safely provide assistance to our riders during lessons. Our volunteers help prepare horses, walk along side of them, lead their horses, and provide support in other ways. Lesson volunteers are open to those ages 14 and older. During orientation, you'll receive thorough training and learn about our PATH-certified program. This training will last approximately 2 hours. Once completed, you'll be able to view and sign up for volunteer opportunities. There is a limited number of space available during these training sessions.
