Krista Tippett, bestselling author and host of On Being, will deliver Trinity's first Rosemary Kittrell Memorial Lecture.
On Nov. 18, 2021, Krista Tippett, will deliver our first Rosemary Kittrell Memorial Lecture, "Remaking the World: The Callings Ahead for Inner Life and Life Together," in the Sanctuary of Trinity Presbyterian Church.
Journalist, National Humanities Medalist and bestselling author Krista Tippett founded and leads the On Being Project (www.onbeing.org)—a groundbreaking media and public life initiative pursuing “deep thinking and moral imagination, social courage and joy, to renew inner life, outer life, and life together.” As the creator and host of the Peabody Award-winning On Being radio show, heard on public radio stations across the US, Tippett takes up the great animating questions of human life: What does it mean to be human, how do we want to live, and who will we be to each other?
The Rosemary Kittrell Memorial Lecture is made possible through the endowed fund established by the estate of Rosemary Kittrell. Rosemary was a well-regarded Atlanta criminal civil rights attorney and a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church for 43 years.
