Make a Sparkling Beaded Kumihimo Braided Bracelet
Kumihimo is an ancient Japanese braiding technique used for centuries to create strong and decorative cordage. Join June Knowles, expert jewelry and mixed media artist for this fast, fun, and easy 3- hour workshop. You will learn how to incorporate beads into the colorful ribbon Kumihimo braid to add sparkling texture and interest to your bracelet.
These beauties are the perfect complement to your wardrobe or to give as gifts. June designed this workshop with the beginner in mind. Previous experience with kumihimo is helpful but not required.
June's classes are limited to 4 students so she can give you personal attention and instruction. Note there is a 2 student minimum to hold this class.
Level: Beginner+
Materials Fee of $25.00 payable in cash to the instructor at the beginning of class. . You will receive a kit that includes the kumihimo braiding disc, bobbins, beads, ribbons, satin cordage, and a clasp.

Artisans is an artist co-op in downtown Mount Dora, Florida. We specialize in handcrafted artwork of all kinds. Within our gallery there is a small classroom in which we are offering a variety of classes that are fun and addicting. You will always be able to take home something you created in class. The classes are relaxing and intimate. Please arrive 10 minutes before the class starts. Downtown parking lots are within walking distance. Feel free to bring a non-alcoholic beverage.
