"A Son's Silent Cry" raises awareness on human trafficking. This is a sequel to "Silent Cry." The Terrance Richardson Dream. Believe. Work Foundation, Inc. (dba T. Rich Foundation, Inc.) mission is to open doors of opportunity to advance our next generation through mentorship initiatives, scholarship opportunities, and experiential learning. The T. Rich Foundation, Inc. is committed to providing opportunities to advance equity and provide everyone we serve with the resources they need to thrive and succeed, especially during difficult times. This year's Jeans & Jacket Gala features the movie premiere of "A Son's Silent Cry" which raises awareness on human trafficking and educates, protects, and informs our most vulnerable population, our youth. In "A Son's Silent Cry," a young teenager is pressured into being bait for a human trafficking ring; but when he hesitates in the snatching of a new friend, he puts his mother’s life at risk... and his own. A Son’s Silent Cry is a sequel to Silent Cry.  Silent Cry was filmed, directed, and produced in 2018. The Terrance Richardson Dream. Believe. Work. Foundation, Inc., (T. Rich Foundation) in partnership with indie-owned film companies, conducted focus groups by grade level to engage the mentees in discussions on issues they encountered. Each group identified the top areas of concern among their peers: bullying, homelessness, underemployment, and suicidal ideations/mental health. Based on the focus groups' results, the T. Rich Foundation, Inc. sponsored a writer's workshop that resulted in the production of a short film based on the issues earlier identified. This short film is entitled "Silent Cry." Our vision is to enhance our communities by empowering our future leaders and connecting them to social, emotional, physical, and academic support.   Written by: Prentice Dupins & Tiffany Vineyard Directed by: Prentice Dupins          Executive Producer: Tiffany Vineyard Friends of the T.Rich  Foundation are a group of enthusiastic volunteers who advocate,  spread awareness and raise funds for the T.Rich Foundation, Inc.  Members of the Friends of the T.Rich Foundation, Inc. have a wide range of talents and help in many ways- from volunteering in the monthly mentorship programs to organizing benefits such as restaurant nights and other business-sponsored events to secure donors for annual scholarships.
