TAMPA, FL — Both drivers escaped serious injuries Wednesday morning when they crashed on the Howard Frankland Bridge.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 9:30 a.m., a 51-year-old Tampa woman was driving a sports utility vehicle north in the inside lane when she overtook a tractor-trailer truck driven by a 39-year-old Lakeland man.
She struck the left rear portion of the trailer and overturned, receiving minor injuries.
