In Workshop 2 instructor Phil Witt will focus on composition--that is, capturing the best image. Instructor: Phil Witt, Associate Naturalist Workshop 2 will focus on composition--that is, capturing the best image. The workshop will be organized around three nature photography principles—light, composition, and moment. You will learn how to use elements of composition such as color, depth of field, lines, patterns, perspective, shapes, space, and texture. The workshop will review examples from a variety of subject types within nature photography, ranging from birds to insects to landscapes. Participants are encouraged to bring examples of their own images on a thumb drive for in-class critique and editing. One person per ticket. Ticket sale ends on 11/5 at 4:00 PM. All attendees must wear a mask indoors regardless of Covid-19 vaccination status, and maintain social distancing. NEW JERSEY AUDUBON'S PROGRAM GUIDELINES: Effective June 4, 2021, fully vaccinated people may attend outdoor programs without masks. If you are unvaccinated, please mask up. Masks and social distancing are required indoors regardless of Covid-19 vaccination status. CANCELLATION: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance. Sorry, no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance unless due to health emergencies; however registrations can be transferred to another program in the future.
