We are looking to hire a Trainee Fireplace Installer to learn to perform installation duties required by clients. The fireplace Installer will learn to: • Install gas, bioethanol and electric hearth appliances • Read drawings and manufacturer’s instructions regarding the proper installation • Use Multiple power and hand tools proficiently • Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site • Safely move and install fireplaces over 100 lbs You will train with several experienced Fireplace Installers. You will learn to the latest technologies and developments in fireplaces. Ultimately, you will learn to demonstrate excellent power and hand tool skills, as well as exceptional problem-solving skills and customer service skills. Learning Requirements • Installing customer fireplaces in a precise and safe manner • Effectively communication with customers and team members • Maintaining a clean and orderly job site and company vehicle (A clean and insurable CA Driver’s License is required.) • Maintaining an accurate record of all items/parts used to install fireplaces. • The ability to use various hand tools • The ability to move heavy objects (in excess of 100 lbs.) • Excellent problem-solving skills • Exceptional customer service skills
