Gavin Newsom did not beat the recall by coincidence

64% of the people who voted in the recall voted to keep Gavin. 13% voted for Elder. Gavin was elected with 63% of the vote. He is maintaining a 2/3 majority in this state even during the biggest crisis this state has ever faced. Those are simple facts. Not everyone who voted for Gavin loves the guy, but they do support him over ANY republican. A republican will never be elected in CA again... Not in our lifetime. Why, you ask? Because the population of CA is shifting monthly to more democrat and less republican. Young voters registering in Ca are registering dems. Liberals move to this state every month. Conservatives leave this state every month. Ca becomes more and more liberal by the month.
