We adopted sweet Astrid 2.5 weeks ago from the SPCA. We believe that she is some kind of Aussie mix. She is a fun-loving, high-energy, pup! She loves to play, is excellent with dogs & people. She is good with cats; however, our cats are afraid of her, making our home not the right fit. We adopted her under the precept that she was 2 years old; however, learned after that she is only 8 months. We, unfortunately, do not have the time or means to commit to such a young dog but feel that she deserves just that. We are looking for folks committed to giving her the time she needs, since she is still young, requires training, and has lots of energy. She is mostly house-trained (a few accidents here and there). Despite her wonderful ability to connect, she is deaf & blind in one eye. She requires ointment in her eye twice daily. She is beginning to learn hand commands, but still has a ways to go. We are still working on crate training. She is very food motivated. She is up to date on her vaccines and is spayed.
