ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police filed multiple robbery charges against a Washington, D.C. man for a series of robberies in the Ballston area, according to the daily crime report. Officers responded around 12:42 p.m. on Saturday for the report of a suspicious person with a knife at a store in the 700 block of N. Glebe Road. After searching the area, police located the suspect and took him into custody. An investigation revealed that an employee saw a man trying to leave the store without paying for merchandise. When the employee confronted the man, he produced a knife, made threats at the employee and then left the store with the unpaid merchandise.
