Over the weekend, a Travis County spokesperson told KXAN the majority of people coming to the mobile clinic at the festival were getting booster shots of the Pfizer vaccine. Authorities said this won't be the last time they will be distributing vaccines at the event. County officials plan to offer more vaccines this weekend during weekend two of the festival. Those who plan to get a shot, must bring their CDC vaccine card to get a second or third/booster dose of the vaccine. As of Tuesday, over 71.3 percent of Travis County residents are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, according to the Texas Department of State Health Services.
