GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the internal and external physical operations and maintenance of Calvary Baptist Church properties. Supervise facilities staff members. Serve as liaison to Buildings and Grounds members of the Trustee Ministry on building operations and property maintenance. Assess and complete work orders. Perform maintenance, light construction duties and monitor all Church owned properties for safety and compliance. Monitor/Manage upkeep of Church fleet of bus and vans.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School/Equivalent Degree required. Additionally, 2-4 years of Administration or Business Management Training preferred Minimum of 5-7 years of highly effective demonstrated leadership and/or management experience in Facilities or Business OperationsWorking knowledge of building systems, i.e., HVAC, lighting, boiler operations, electronic security, telephones, elevators and information technologyFamiliarity with seasonal property management requirementsKnowledge of municipal and state requirements for building operationsStay abreast of latest information that affects the optimum operation of all Calvary Baptist Church facilities
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Church building/office environmentMonday-Friday work week with emergency potential weekend situationsPrimarily local travel to vendors e.g. Home Depot, Lowe’s, FedEx, etc.
