Press release from the Kansas City Parks & Recreation Department: October 6, 2021 The Kessler Clean Parks Micro-Grants Are Designed to Help Clean up Area Parks Who: Mini-Grants are being offered for local volunteer groups. Eligible volunteer groups include but are not limited to neighborhood associations, schools, churches, youth groups, sports associations, scout troops, and clubs. Checks will only be made out to an organization, not to an individual. Group does not have to be a 501(c)(3). For groups to apply, they can email [email protected] What: The Kessler Clean Parks Micro-Grants award up to $500 from KC Parks Foundation for a litter and debris cleanup and landscape maintenance park event. A group may receive one Micro-Grant annually. Where: Any of KC Parks 221 parks or segments of any of KC Parks Boulevards or Parkways. When: This is an open grant cycle, co there is no deadlines to meet for applications. Supplies are provided. Why: This is a partnership between KC Parks and KC Park Foundation to help beautify our parks and boulevards How: Through generous donations to KC Parks Foundation, this mini-grant program is able to be offered.
