Press release from the Wright County Government: October 6, 2021 Wright County Division of Agriculture and Drainage in partnership with the Wright Soil and Water Conservation District is soliciting sealed proposals for a large Water and Sediment Control Basin Project, detailed in the bid packet, in the NE ¼ of the NE ¼ of Section 2, Township 119N, Range 28W (Cokato) of Wright County, MN. The project includes site preparation, tree removal, tile installation, and the construction of compacted earthfill embankments for the purposes of temporarily detaining water to reduce erosion. We anticipate awarding this contract in early -November, with work to begin in as soon as contracts are executed and to be completed by the end of December 2021, conditions permitting. Interested contractors should submit sealed proposals on or before 12:00 PM Central Time on October 29, 2021, at which time bid will be opened and read.
