Click here to view the original story.   Thursdays-Sundays, October 21-24 + 28-31 6:00-9:00 p.m. Wing Park, 1010 Wing Street, Elgin, IL 60123   Elgin, IL - The City of Elgin will host the second Little Park of Horrors from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursdays to Sundays, October 21 to 24 and 28 to 31, at the historic Wing Park, located at 1010 Wing Street in Elgin. Little Park of Horrors is a ticketed event this year, and tickets must be purchased in advance. There will be no cash sales at the entrance. Tickets are $10 per vehicle and can be purchased by following the link at cityofelgin.org/littleparkofhorrors. Buses and oversized vehicles are prohibited.   Little Park of Horrors is a socially distanced, drive-through event designed to chill guests to the bone with its horror-themed props and creations, live actors and atmospherics. This half-mile haunted drive will feature several homages to classic 80's and 90's horror movies, as visitors will experience sprawling skeletons, scary circus clowns and creeping creatures all set to lighting effects and spooky music.    Wing Park will close to the public at 3:00 p.m. October 21 through October 31. The Wing Park Golf Course will not be affected by this closure. Little Park of Horrors is open to vehicle traffic only. Pedestrians will be prohibited. This experience is rated PG-13 and is approximately 7-10 minutes long. Guests must remain in their vehicles for the entirety of the event. Snacks will be available for purchase to patrons waiting to enter the event. The route through the park has been reversed this year to help minimize traffic congestion. Vehicles will enter on McClure Avenue from Wing Street, and will follow a one-way traffic route through the park. Vehicles will exit on Wing Street.
