Press release from the Rice County Historical Society: October 5, 2021 5pm Social Hour, 6pm Dinner, 7pmProgram Held at the Faribault American Legion The Rice County Historical Society's 2021 Fall Banquet and Annual Meeting will be held on Thursday, October 28, at the American Legion (112 5th St NE) in Faribault. The banquet will begin with a social hour at 5:00; dinner will be served at 6:00. There will be a brief business meeting as required by our bylaws at 7:00, followed by a program, "Murder, Mysteries, and Misfortune in Rice County," presented by Elsie Slinger. Dinner will be a traditional turkey dinner with all the fixing, garden salad, and dessert catered by the Faribault American Legion. The cost is $25 for RCHS members and $30 for non-members. Tickets can be purchased at the RCHS Museum, 1814 Second Ave. NW; from RCHS board members; or reserved by calling the museum at 332-2121.
