Delegal Landscapes, Inc., a family-run, full-service landscaping company founded more than 14 years ago is looking for experienced landscape workers to grow with our expanding business. We design, install and maintain the landscapes of more than 140 Savannah residences and Homeowners Associations. Under the general direction of the Supervisor, the Groundsman is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of small equipment; i.e., backpack blower, string trimmer, edger, push mower, walk-behind, and/or riding mowers and other hand tools. Position responsibilities: Willing and able to learn the efficient and safe operation and maintenance procedures of any and all Delegal Landscapes maintenance equipment. Work closely with other team members and communicate client needs to appropriate personnel. Perform other related duties as assigned. Able to report to work on time and communicate with management when tardiness or absenteeism issues may arise. Pay attention to details, such as weed pulling and trash pick up/job clean-up. Must follow all uniform and safety rules. Hours: Minimum of 40 hours per week. Overtime and/or Saturday work is required during peak seasons, to accomplish special projects, and/or to make up rainy days.
