The Bradenton Country Club is now hiring for a housekeeping position. This is a full-time, year round position in a beautiful and fun location. Duties include the following: • Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. • Sweep, scrub floors using brooms, mops and/or powered scrubbing machines. • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and/or draperies using vacuum cleaners. • Dust and polish furniture and equipment. • Keep storage areas well stocked, clean and tidy. • Replace light bulbs. • Replenish bathroom supplies. • Wash windows, walls, ceilings and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary. • Checks the outside shed maintenance room to ensure it is neat and clean. o Completely scrubs, cleans and sanitizes sinks, commodes and urinals. o Cleans mirrors. o Replaces toilet tissues and hand towels. o Completely cleans and dusts the area. o Washes down all tables and sanitizes. o Washes and sanitizes the baby changing station. o Picks up trash and cleans pool deck area as needed. o Ensures that any equipment stored outside is stored neatly and covered to protect from weather. o Empties trash cans and replaces liners. Dusts corners of clubhouse making certain cobwebs, dirt and marks have been removed. This position requires the ability to use you abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously. The ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of fingers, hands and wrists. You will be required to perform activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials.
