PHOENIX — A two-man parody of "Harry Potter" is flying in to Phoenix, just in time for Halloween. Actors Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner take about 360 different roles in their show "Potted Potter — The Unauthorized Harry Experience." The show will run October 28, 29, and 30 at The Madison Center for the Arts, according to a news release. The show promises a condensed version of all seven books in just over two hours -- no Time-Turner required. Clarkson and Turner even play a game of the Wizarding World's favorite sport, Quidditch, in front of the audience. Tickets run from $49-59, and all three shows begin at 7 p.m. The venue is hosting a costume contest each night, according to the news release. Fans are encouraged to dress up as their favorite character from the Potterverse. Winners will receive 2022 season tickets to The Madison. And, the theatre's full bar will feature a "Butter Brew" beverage perfect for the occasion. "Potted Potter" was nominated for an Olivier Award, the highest honor in British theatre. Clarkson and Turner are both two-time Olivier nominees in acting. The show is perfect for "ages six to Dumbledore (who is very old indeed)."
