Rain Gutter Installer Job Description The primary responsibilities of a Rain Gutter Installer at Ace Rain Systems, Inc. is to attach seamless rain gutters to homes and commercial buildings per the estimate, as well as properly installing down spouts in the designated locations. Installers are also responsible for yard clean up and, when appropriate, tear down and removal of old/damaged existing rain gutters. At times gutter cleanings and repairs will be required. A Rain Gutter Installer may be required to drive a company van or their own vehicle to and from the job site occasionally. All work is to be performed in a professional manner, taking care to be respectful of property owners, their property, and their belongings. There will be performance evaluations at 30 days, 90 days, and six months with the possibility of up to 10% raise depending upon performance. Then, yearly raises of up to 10% based on performance. On the job training is provided. The position is long-term with the possibility of advancement to Installer/Estimator. Primary Responsibilities Install gutter systems on various properties Inspect sites for damage and hazards Use power tools to attach gutters and down spouts Use gutter machine to form and cut gutters Perform maintenance and repairs when necessary Perform gutter cleaning when necessary Perform yard clean up as needed Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or GED certificate Construction experience (preferred) Physical stamina Comfortable with heights, ladders Skilled with power and hand tools A keen eye for detail Ability to lift and carry 100lbs Bending and stooping Ability to work 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. regularly (Hours depend on market demands) Some overtime and weekends Clean driving record Compensation Pay range $18 - $25/hour, depending upon experience Overtime pay Paid sick time
