HIRING AT: Urban Stone is a fabrication and installation stone company located in Fallbrook, CA. Hiring a full time self-motivated and organized individual, for our installation team. ALL APPLICANTS ARE SUBJECT BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: -Fills all horizontal and vertical seams with polyester resin (Akemi) colored to match stone. -Sets tops as close as practical to the same plane as cabinets, including cook tops. -Supports top every four to six inches at the sink and cook top fronts as well as any gap of 1/16th of an inch between the top and cabinet. -Uses solid bead of silicone sealant between tops and cabinets. -Uses seam levelers and pullers wherever possible. -All seams are as tight as possible and seam edges are "blocked" to smooth edges. -Under mount sinks are supported with a wood frame and sealed to the tops with a solid bead of silicon sealant. Small under mount sinks are supported with "clips". -Backsplash is caulked, stone to stone, at vertical and horizontal seams; a bead of caulk is put on the bottom of splash prior to setting in place. -Backsplash is set to wall with silicone sealant, caulked on unfinished walls. -Tops are caulked to cabinets and walls at the end of runs. -Fireplaces are installed with 1/8th inch metal reveal, except when specifically shown different. -Tops have a consistent overhang, except where cabinets do not allow. -Drop cloths and vacuums are used when performing field cutouts inside to minimize dust and debris. -Field cutouts are conducted outside whenever possible. -No cut-outs are left at the job-site. -Adjust countertops to fit on site -Urban Stone will provide all tools needed to properly install a job REQUIREMENTS: -Previous experience in the stone countertop industry or interior renovation (construction). -Minimum High School education -Able to lift and maneuver 75+ pounds -Ability to problem solve and be detailed oriented -Must have a valid driver license * Healthcare available for full time employees* Work Hours are Monday-Thursday 6:30 A.M – 5:00 P.M All employees must wear facemasks when required at jobsites.
